Entrance Hallway
This beautiful old federation home in Mosman was extended to allow for a better flow throughout the house, while retaining all of the original character.
Kitchen Diner
A large open plan living area was created at the back of the house for living, dining and kitchen. Special features are the bespoke kitchen with shaker style units in white, offset by dark wood floors for the classic timeless look.
TV Room
The fireplace in the lounge was custom-designed using reclaimed bricks and timber for the mantle.
Sleek and Simple Laundry
To create flow, the dark wood bench and white butlers sink and cabinetry in the laundry compliment the colour scheme throughout the rest of the house.
Staircase
The staircase was also key to the design to allow light into the space and to provide a connection from downstairs to the upstairs. A neutral colour palate was chosen throughout, along with natural materials of predominantly wood and stone, to create a calm environment for a busy household.
Bedroom
Another bedroom and bathroom were added upstairs. Fresh greens link the garden view to the inside decor to create a light and airy space.
Ensuite Bathroom
A classic vanity design with recessed shaving cabinets and timeless wall lights, kept the look in this ensuite simple yet elegant.
Outside Dining
The large sliding doors allow the space, light and air in from outside. The travertine tiles, stone table and timber doors are again using the products the designer likes to work with.
